Before deciding to use this picture for my post I had to research and find out if it was socially responsible to be seen in a white shirt before Memorial Day. I couldn't find a definitive answer or a real reason as to why people don't wear white after Labor Day so I guess it all depends on who you ask. If you ask me I say fuck it. White has always looked good on me.
Anyway, the reason I broke out the fancy Motion Picture Uniform for this post is because exactly one year ago today is the day that I discovered I was a brilliant writer (with a few grammar and spelling issues).
Before Corky's log I was a nobody. A real zero with all sorts of compulsions and unresolved issues... Someday when you have some time and a deep pot of coffee you should check out my amazing transformation from ugly tree eating Moth to beautiful grass hovering Butterfly. It truly is sensational.
Besides coming to terms with myself as a person and reconciling my relationship with the Lord through blogging, I've also been able to share my television viewing habits with my closest friends and family on a daily basis, at their convenience of course. That's been really important to me.
The relationships that I have formed with other bloggers have become real and very important to me also. Really. I like you guys and gals a lot. As a matter of fact, I don't even mind the random fucks that come to the log through google and stay for five minutes. Who knows, it could be the most important 5 minutes of somebodies life.

Lastly, I would like everyone to observe a moment of silence (at your convenience of course) for the bloggers who no longer blog... And now lets have a toast: To another wonderful year of Corky's log.

I really learned a lot from the Circle Line tour guide. According to him a lot of movies get filmed in New York City, lots of famous actors and actresses have lived and live in NY, and sooner than later there's going to be nothing in New York but Condos. Very informative. My only complaint about the tour is that I felt that the New Jersey side of the river got neglected a bit.
