Update

My wife Allyson took this picture while we were driving home from vacation a couple of weeks ago. About 50 miles east of Wheeling West Virginia if I'm not mistaken. Joyce Dewitt is from Wheeling. I just learned that 20 seconds ago. I definitely would have banged Janet back in the day. I liked her much better than Chrissy. But out of all the women on that show I liked Priscilla Barns (Terry) the best.

In other news Allyson is feeling Corky Jr on a daily basis now. It's really exciting and amazing stuff. I don't think I have ever seen her as happy as she is now. And that's including the time I took her to the county fair and bought her an ice cream cone. This has been a very special time in our life together.

In older news when we were in NJ my mother had a very nice baby shower for us. Thanks Mom. My family and friends got a chance to meet Allyson's family for the first time. The shower was a lot of fun and we got just about everything we registered for, and I do mean everything. Yesterday the UPS driver came and dropped off a bunch of wonderful gifts like a crib and some furniture. I got to carry most of the heavy stuff up a flight of stairs by myself. But don't worry, I'm pretty strong.

I've got my work cut out for me over the next couple of months but it should be a lot of fun getting everything ready for Corky Jr.

So, in other words, poor Allyson is now feeling two Corkys on a daily basis! Jeez! What did she ever do to deserve this? :)

Congratulations again buddy!

My grandma lived right over the river from Wheeling. Wheeling is a depressing place from what I can remember...And, I just learned this in Wikipedia 20 seconds ago: The name "Wheeling" is of the American Adena tribe derivation for "place of the skull." At the confluence of Wheeling Creek and the Ohio River near what is now 16th and Main Streets, a white settler was scalped and decapitated --- the severed head displayed.

YIKES.

Joyce DeWitt was okay ... but I really can't believe anyone would choose her over Chrissy. Chrissy was teh hotness.

Have you got all the football stuff for Corky Jr. yet? Some people would be collecting classical music, books, and other stuff like that for their kid. But, that can wait. I think he should be exposed to important things like the NFL as soon as possible.

While he lying in his crib this fall you can turn on football games on the radio for him.

I liked Joyce Dewitt a lot as well. I went through Wheeling several times while riding the bus to and from college. I remember it as being a bit of a dump.

Make sure you put the crib together IN HIS ROOM, because I made Chris put it together in the livingroom so he could chat at me, and it was too big to fit down the hallway when he was finished. He was SO pissed at me! But, to be fair, I was carrying his child and you just can't stay mad at someone pregnant with your baby... :)

Corky! You should get one of those devices to lsiten to the baby...it also lets you talk to it and play it music. It's weird at first, but very cool...

Being kicked is the coolest feeling ever. I think I miss that the most about being pregnant.

you'll never be ready for kids, they are the masters of surprising the crap out of everyone (sometimes literally)

Ae! Is the Mrs. feeling kicks and such? That's so exciting (and kinda weird, but still cool).

I've actually met Joyce Dewitt. She's completely humble and kind and totally sweet. You'd totally want to bang her even more if you'd met her. I can arrange something if you like.

It's really neat when it feels as if they're lil feet get lodged in your ribcage.

There's an amazing amount of 'stuff' that goes along with a baby. Take a good look at your house now, cause it will soon be overtaken with all things BABY. Including every bit of your life. It's all worth it though. Make sure you have a camcorder. There's nothing that my daughter likes better than watching all the video I took of her. All she can say is "I'm SO cute"

It is a great time. Enjoy it! The crib assembly can be a real bitch though.

Wow--Janet. Perhaps it harkens a change in society given the shift in the Joyce direction versus Susanne.

Joyce De Witt, huh? Learn something new every day.
Baby stuff! It WILL take over your house, but it will be SO worth it.

You make it sound 'almost' fun being pregnant and expecting a baby... almost... but you aren't the carrying the load there, does Allyson's side of the story? hehe

Picture above is as freaky as the pic my son took in the car on the way home from the Air Show we had just attended. It is the last image on my second last post, we reckon it is Aliens looking at our hardwares at the airshow!!!
Great news you will be a parent, it is fun, today I had my 4 kids home and a party of other kids to join in for my son's 10th birthday, they grow so fast!!

Baby showers are great for getting all the stuff you need~Corky Jr. MUST be outfitted appropriately. :)

LOL.

Thats great news about all the gifts n all. They don't have baby showers in the UK, people buy you stuff when the babies arrive but its usually a case of you get what you are given and you end up with loads of newborn size things.
