Dreaming Daily

Right now I could be taking a nap, straightening up the house, or watching last night's episode of Smallville. At some point before my son wakes up I may engage in one or more of those activities, but for now I'd like to write.

I've been having some pretty vivid dreams lately. Last night I dreamt that Max was my nephew, the neighbors kid and there were two other kids who looked exactly like Max, but I can't remember what their relationship was to me. I'm just glad there weren't four of them sitting in a car singing that terrible song, Ironic. I think one of the other Maxes might have been the paperboy from that 80's video game, Paperboy. Luckily, he didn't throw a newspaper through my window and unfortunately he didn't do any cool jumps.

The other day I dreamt that my grandmother visited me from beyond. I only had time to ask her two questions before she disappeared. I basically asked her if she saw my grandfather up there and what was it like, and she told me that she saw everyone she's ever known and that I'd have to wait to find out what it is like up there. I've had this dream before about other people and I always ask the same questions and always get the same answers.

I also had a dream about a lot of the faces I see on Facebook and either it was a crazy party without drugs or a parade that took place in Kentucky but that dream was a few days ago and who can remember that far back already.

I'm not sure why I've been remembering all of these dreams. It could be because I've decreased the amount of calories I put into my body on a daily basis, but other than that I have no idea. I'm not using any new drugs, nor am I watching anything out of the ordinary on TV. I've started watching House, but I don't think that's what causing all these bizarre dreams. It is a good show though.

I guess there's no point in over analyzing. As long as I'm not having any nightmares or pissing in my sleep I'm ok with remembering a daily dream.

Please note: When I refer to having a dream last night or the other night, I'm really talking about having a dream during the day since I work at night and sleep during the day.

Note: Smallville is on Thursday nights at 8:00 so I obviously don't have a new episode waiting for me on DVR. Rats.

Ahhh, dreams. I've had a few odd ones lately too. I wake up and try to shake them out of my mind like an etch-a-sketch.

Thanks for visiting me again! You are totally needing freebies for the laundry since you are encountering two small children in the same household! ;-)

If I dreamed that there were four little kids around me it would be a nightmare! Kids scare me.

Dreams are weird, aren't they? Last night I dreamed that I brushed my teeth with toilet bowl water. YUCK!

I've been having some really weird ass dreams lately. I can't explain them and I wake up feeling weirder than usual.

I bet that House would find your vivid dreams a symptom of something dire, misdiagnosis a number of times and then save you in the very last five minutes...
just saying.

I've had some strange dreams lately, too, but I can't remember them long.

One nightmare I've had a lot lately is that the temperature keeps shifting wildly and one day I wear short sleeves to work and the next I wear my winter coat. Oh wait - that's not a nightmare - it's WHERE WE LIVE!!!!

Hope Max, Allison, and the boy-on-the-way are all doing well.

You pee in your sleep, too?
I'm glad that Max is feeling better. 102 is waay high for a wee one.

Farmer*swife: Usually I can shake the memory of a dream with a good cup of coffee but not this week.

Fiwa: I hope the toilet water was semi-clean. ;)

Furiousball: Sorry buddy, I'm poke proof.

Dilling: That's the way TV should be. Take the Love Boat for example: Same plot every week and the show was on for 10 years. I still love that show to this day...

Hoosiergirl: I'm ready for the warm weather to stay for good. At least until it gets into the 90's then it's going to suck.

Biddie: I freaked out a bit over his temp, but he got over really fast. His nose has been running ever since but I'll take that over a fever any day.

House drives me nuts! It's almost always the same scenario... it's this.. oh no it's that... no hold on it's something else .... drives me batty.
Dreams.... *shrugging shoulders*... we all have em... some even have meaning... some are just weird. You are weird... or maybe not.... oh hell go back to bed....

For the last two weeks I've been dreaming about my old job. In one I was working for free. In another I was pranking everyone before I left. In another I was training someone who didn't know I knew I was going to be laid off. It's exhausting!

I had a weird dream last night, but can't remember what it was!

Dreams make great posts. The only recurring thing in my dreams is my ability to fly when I get really pissed off at someone, which is pretty cool. I want to figure out the lucid dreaming thing.

It is good you're not pissing in bed Corky, so be thankful for that. Now about those visits from your beyond, how cool. I think you might be channeling...

it's amazing to me how the details of a dream can fade within like 5 minutes. it just blends back in with your mind.

I love dreams... just enjoy them, especially the crazy ones. Dang I wish I could have more! Send em my way.

You're going through lots these days with a 2nd baby on the way and all that goes with a growing family.

Give yourself a break and just relax and let it flow.

Everything works out y'know. :)

Have fun.
