Max

Thank you very much for the kind comments folks! Allyson and I were very touched by all of your kindness. Max is getting better and better everyday. We should be home sometime next week. I've got tons of stories about the experience that I'm just dying to write.

This is a picture of Max from two days ago. Lots of wires just to make sure he's ok. And please don't be alarmed by the tube coming out of his head. That's just how I was downloading information about Superheroes and television to him (IV). It's out of his head now.

He is spending most of his time with us now, and is out of the Special Care Nursery except for when he's taking his meds. We can't wait to bring him home and show him his room.

Much more about Corky Jr coming from Captain Corky very soon.

Awww...he's so cute! I'm glad he's feeling better and that's pure genius downloading the superhero info that way. ;)

He's so adorable!

He's adorable. Kisses all over him!

I'm so relieved you downloaded the necessary info to him. Its pretty rough being on the outside after 9 months. I'm sure he feels very secure now that he knows about the superheros.

Whew.

Yes! Mad Max had downloaded all the information he really ever needs to know. Well, there is the "other stuff" he'll need to know, but not until he'd older. ;-)

He looks like he's ready to hang out in his Social Club.

Corky, Max is a very sweet baby. I am glad that he is done with the crucial downloading and is getting better all the time. Soon you will all be home and showing Max his room as well as fitting him for his Super Cape. Take care.

Congrats to you both! I think he looks like you ;)

When can we take him fishing?

Simply adorable.

Good job on the download ... he'll show you he's backed it up next time you open a diaper.

(Max thinking: I'll teach Daddy a thing or two about "loading")

Awwwww he is SUCH a sweetie. Did they ever find out what was the source of the infection?? Hope he is feeling better soon.

Really, he is just beautiful, and I honestly don't say that about every baby.

What a brave, strong little guy.

how adorable is this baby!!!!!

He really is adorable. Unlike gina, above, I do say that about a lot of babies. BUT, I mean it with him. But, he's done uploading ALL super hero info in just a few days? He must be amazing.

Oh, wait, you focused on DC, and everyone knows Marvel are the more important and would take WAY more time.

Oh, sweet little Max. I can't wait until you can bring him home.

Can't wait to hear more! Good thinking downloading all that info like that-you don't have to waste time talking about non essentials! Now you can have good deep conversations about Sci-Fi!

Joshua said...

I can't wait to read what you got to say about all this.

Good luck!

He's a seriously good looking baby and I am not just saying that. I had good looking babies so I know what I am talking about!!!

Way to go! Now go sleep and then feed your wife. Love to you all!

Max is a fine name. Wasn't it the wife's front runner? Ah, I bet it seems like some kind of bargaining chip for future deals, but probably isn't. But you do have a son, now. Rock on!

I am SO glad to hear that Max and Allyson are both doing better.
How's the download going then?
Big hugs.

Does he know kung fu now?

magickat said...

Oh he is so tiny and adorable. I think it was very wise to download information to him so quickly. He will be able to protect the universe much earlier this way.

Max is a cutie. Congrats to you both!

Glad all is going well.

Can't wait to hear your stories about the whole experience. Thanks to Max you now have a buttload of new material.

I forgot to mention last time how much I like the name Max. Any name with an "X" in it is just inherently cool.

Hope the super heroes were whispering sweet nothings to the dear boy.

We miss you and the family!! Can't wait for you to come back!!

Cheryl said...

Ditto what everyone else said. Ah, that was easy!

So, you think you're going to have lots of time to write stories? Hah!

I did mean it when I said he's beautiful. Really beautiful. I look foward to when he's off his meds and home with you and Allyson.

I miss him already!
I can't wait to see the next set of pics where he is in his "strong hold" surrounded by the Legion of Heroes that is waiting for him.

When you get a house, I am hooking that boy up with a DOG!

Max is a fitting name cuz I start thinking of Russel Criow & the gladiator... Corky Jr is a fighter :)

Much love from
Aunt Crashy ;)

Corky, seeing Max makes me want another so so badly! I hope all is well and you are loving every moment!

My girls and I have changed our opinion on newborns. Despite the obligation to think your own newborn is "cute", you have to admit that most newborns are... well... un-cute. Max is DEFINATELY an exception to that rule! He is beautiful. Thank God Allyson didn't let you name him Cletus! Congrats and wishes for a quick recovery and trip home :)

Congrats, once more

Sounds like a scary time, Cap'n. But I'm very glad to hear that all three of you pulled through with style and grace. Of course, we expected nothing less.

Ms. Six and I can't wait to meet little Max. He is a super-cutie.
