1st Official Father's Day

What I really want for Father's Day is a tractor. It would be great if I had one cause there's a mound of dirt in my front yard right now.

Anyway, Father's Day is going to be extremely busy for my wife, Allyson. I still haven't finalized or posted the itinerary yet and it's only three days away.

I'm not sure if I want her to wake me to a nice hot bowl of Quaker Oats, or a toasted peanut butter sandwich... Both are delectable day in and day out.

I also want to make sure that she understands that I come first on Sunday and not Max. I love the kid with all my heart, but She and He gotta understand that Daddy only gets his day in the Sun once or twice a year at best.

We also haven't decided what Max is going to be giving me. So many choices: Grill, tool bench, tractor, drill, garbage cans, drill, tool bench, grill that uses propane gas, a lawn mower with a bigger engine and more torque, or paint.

It's a complete mess I tell you. Give me a day or two and I'll figure it all out.

In the meantime I think Max is getting the hang of Summer.

There you are, Corky. Happy First Father's Day to you. Of course, there is no finer tractor than a John Deere tractor.

Why don't you ask for a hooker while your at it?!? Or a golden toilet to do the official business?

Hope you have a great Daddy Day.

Make sure you get that list of demands ... uh ... things they can do for you to them with plenty of notice. You don't want them to have to hurry and mess something up!

I hope that you have an enjoyable father's day.

Father's day was something that I enjoyed when my Dad was alive, and since it was not in the cards for me to have a child not that Dad iwent home years ago it is just an other day to me.

Somebody stole your BABY!
He has been replaced with a BOY!

Still counts, though, when it comes to Father's Day, I'm guessin'.

What!?! No rocking chair for Father's Day??

aww, there's that sweet boy! if he gets any cuter i will burst, Corky! tell him to stop getting cuter! it's painful already! :)

mmmm, i love a toasted pb sandwich. maybe throw a lil' honey in between the bread too. mmmmm. i'd eat peanut butter on just about anything. well, okay, maybe not on everything. that just sounds wrong. ;)

I hope you have a great Father's Day! kick your feet up and relax and enjoy your day, Corkster!

Happy Father's Day Corky.

On Mom's Day I was lucky enough to have cereal in bed courtesy of my 5 and 8 year old. ENJOY

you should ask for an armored bulldozer that also mows the lawn and has a pop out grill! that would be sweet.

That's right - this is your 1st Fathers Day!
You are thoughtful, deciding for Max and Allyson what they will get you. You're just like that :)

There's something about baby pudge that makes me giggle. Not adult pudge though. I really wish Hoop would learn the difference.

Nothing runs like a Deere!!!
I vote for the tractor.
Max looks like the sort who would like the tractor best too.

I actually agree with your philosophy here on making the time your own--for some reason, no one does that anymore, even on days society actually designates for that kind of thing. I hope you enjoy your Father's Day.
