Only 4 Days Left!

I still haven't purchased any Candy for
Halloween yet. How fucked up is that?

I wish I had some Easter Candy to give out on the 31st...

Since I only get 20 to 22 trick-or-treaters a year It would be affordable to give one hollowed out chocolate bunny per customer. I wonder if their parents would let the kids eat it... Would you let your kid eat a chocolate bunny that he or she received from Captain Corky on Halloween?

Note: Don't worry, I wouldn't give out any stale bunnies. As soon as I purchased them, at the discounted price the Monday after Easter, I would put them in the freezer within the week.

Luckily I was watching football on Sunday and was reminded that It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown is on tonight at 8:00 PM (Eastern Standard Time) on ABC. Have you set your DVR to record it yet? And please don't bullshit me and tell me you have it on DVD or even worse VHS. I'm not buying it.

We plan on bringing Max to the Zoo on Friday to do whatever they do at the Zoo on Halloween. I hope there's a costume party cause this year I'm going as Captain Kirk. I'm thinking about going as Admiral Kirk next year, but I'm not sure yet.

Can you guess who Max is going as? Sorry no prizes will be given out if you guess correctly, but you will win a special place in Corky's heart FOREVER if you do.

The End of this Post

The kids in our neighborhood trick-or-treat before I get home from work - I'm just hoping the house doesn't get egged because we have no candy!

... and what will Max be for Halloween?? If there's no prize I'm not guessing, but I do expect several photos posted!

I love the fact that you have a freezer full of chocolate bunnies.

Gang: I actually wrote this post today 10/28/2008, but since I started to write it yesterday it looks as if I published this post on Monday the 27th and I didn't!

Dana: I will post the pic of him in his costume early next week!

Tod: I don't yet but I will for next year for sure! LOL

MMMmmmm bunny...

What's better Charlie Brown Christmas or Halloween? I think the Christmas one is better.

I'm going to be workin' out in the gulf. So you guys have a good Halloween for me!

Joshua over and out

would he be Spock to your Captain Kirk? Pointy ears would be cute on him. Def post pictures though! Also didn't you just move to a new house/neighborhood? You might want to be more prepared than for 20! :o)

You need more children...then you could dress them up as tribbles! ;)

a klingon?

So I guess if I already know...it's not a guess right??? There For...I shall remain silent and allow the suspense to build fervishly!

Burfica said...

dammit I was gonna guess tribble. But I will say he will be a mini kirk. hehehehehe

We are going to my aunts to pass out candy, it's one of the two bussiest streets in town. My kid says he's to old to go trick or treating, he want's to dress up and scare kids and pass out candy.

Yes! A picture of Max in his costume just in time to be my wedding present!

I think the real question here is would *I* eat a chocolate bunny from Corky, because everyone here knows that MOM gets dibs on the chocolate!!

I love RLL idea of a Tribble clan!

Max is going as himself, the cutest baby in the universe. Duh.

Damn...I missed Charlie Brown! I DO have it on DVD, but it's more fun to catch it on tv for some reason. The Thanksgiving one is my favorite though.

Dude, chocolate from easter isn't stale. I have chocolate from LAST halloween. In fact, I may have to go dig that out and have a piece.

love,
fiwa

I am lucky we don't do Halloween cos if I had to have lollies and chocolates in the house I darn well eat them!

Oh and Max? I thought immediately of Spock... we had a dog named Spock when I was a kid....

A few days ago I bought a box of 100 choc bars and didn't hide them well enough. Now I gotta buy more...

The only candy I have in my apartment is leftover frozen Hershey kisses. I guess if the children in my building drop buy I'll make them compete for the whole bag.

I think Max would make an excellent Spock but it is probably easier to dress him as a football or if you are taking him to the zoo something confusing, like a monkey.

Can I guess? Can I can I??? PLEASE?????

I assume that Max will be going as Han Solo, right?

I don't give out any candy to the little homeless kids on Halloween. Okay, I would but we rarely get any around here.

I want to know if they put costumes one the animals at the zoo. Oh come one... you know it'd be hilarious i the elephant dressed like a lion, the lion like a gorilla, and the polar bear was dressed like a peacock!!

Hell yes you can give my future child a hollow bunny-- any day of the year.
Is Max being a mini Captain Kirk?

Josh: I agree, The Christmas special is by far the best.

Enjoy the sun and the water! It's cold here.

Terri: Great guess and he does have some of the features to make a fantastic Spock, but that's not it. ;)

Furious: No son of mine will be dressing up like an Ewok EVER, unless the price was right of course.

Real: More children... now that's a good idea!!! ;)

Dilling: Another great guess, but not a Klingon or Mr. Spock.

captain corky said...

Tranquillitas: You have an inside track. ;)

Burfica: Even better maybe next year he'll go as Mini-Corky. ;)

Guilty: Absolutely!!!

Leighann: I'm working on building the clan. ;)

Fiwa: I'll have to take your word for it cause in reality chocolate doesn't have a long shelf life here. ;)

Chris H: Spock would be a great name for a pet. Much better than Fluffy.

Olly: Story of my life. ;)

Knight: I'd like to see what kind of paces you would put the kids through for the Kisses. That would be really funny.

Biddie: That wouldn't be very fair now would it? ;)

Jay: We never really get that many around here either. They must all be at the zoo or the mall.

captain corky said...

TRLFTP: That would be really funny and would probably fuck with the zoo keeper's heads a little bit. Nothing wrong with that. ;)

Princess: I'll put one away for you this Easter. ;)

Aw man I really need some candy now. I would eat your hollowed out bunny. :) Yummy!

Our Zoo in Memphis has something called "Memphis Zoo Boo", supposed to be cool, I don't know though, I haven't gone to it myself. They also have a couple of "Corn Mazes" around the area.

I love Halloween... Hope you guys have a great time. Can't wait to see pics of Max in costume!

I also left the purchase of Halloween candy to the last minute. Living in a new area, I figured I would either get slammed or get no one at all, so not to disappoint, I purchased seven bags of candy (of varieties I prefer, of course). Not one trick-or-treater came by. And, I have not room in my freezer.

um, i'm guessing either jim kelly or gayton.
