May Flowers

Usually around this time of the year the only two things I'm thinking about are the NFL Playoffs and the Holidays. Sure I still stroke my bird in December, but that's really just so that I can keep my focus where it needs to be. The house is ready for the Holidays and I'll get all of my shopping done tomorrow morning after work. But this year I find my thoughts dwelling on the month of May.

Over the weekend my mother called me from a movie theatre and told me to, "Learn all that is learnable." If you're a fan of the show Lost, Alias or Captain Corky by clicking the link above you will start to understand why I can't stop thinking about May flowers.

There's also one other little reason why I'm so excited about May... As it turns out we are pregnant with our second child. That's been on my mind a lot lately too and it's just as exciting as the other news I eluded to. We'll find out the sex of the baby right after New Years and then I can refocus my attention on the NFL Playoffs while we think about a name for Kid Corky. Max is Corky Jr just so there's no confusion here.

And now I leave you with another one of my all time favorite Christmas songs. It's easily one of my top 50 favorite sounds of the season.

Congratulations to you and Mrs. Corky!
We will be needing a video for Max TV of when you tell him about a little brother or sister making the scene.
It will, of course, be priceless footage.
Wish we had some tape for YouTube of your reaction when you were told...

Is this one of those "misheard lyrics" videos, or is he really talking about them all meeting at Taco Bell?
And Dolenz can't hold a candle to a young John Travolta, or a very young handsome pregnant Corky.

I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEE the Monkeys!!!!!

congrats on the baby, Kiddo was born in May.

Furious: Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Monkees.

Jay: Thanks! Yep Corky Jr Number 2. Maybe that will be the child's name.

Leslie: Thanks! I'm sure Max will be very excited when he meets his new sibling. I have some cool vids of Max sorting shapes and playing with toys that I will put up on the blog one of these days.

Anon: That is Sacrilege!!! Mickey Dolenz is the greatest monkee of them all and they could easily kick the crap out of the sweathogs. They probably wouldn't though cause they were such peace lovin hippies, but they could if they wanted to.

Burfica: Thanks! May is going to be great this year.

Beader: That would be sweet!

Tod: It looks really awesome and Nimoy and his wife said it's really good. That's enough for me.

Dana: Thanks! We're really excited, but very busy having fun with Max so it's a bit diffrent this time.

Jamie: Thanks! I think I'm gonna have to wait till tomorrow to go shopping cause of a winter storm that may or may not hit.

Birdman: Thanks! Nice to see you around these parts. Come back and see us again. We're open 24/7.

Hey, congratulations!
You can always just add roman numerals to the end of Corky.
It worked fine for George Foreman.
