Maxman

I finally decided to pull the trigger and post a picture of Max on the log. A lot of people have been wondering what he looks like and have been asking me to post a picture of him for a long time now.

My sister made this onesie for Max and he has at least two more in bigger sizes. She did such an amazing job on these that I'm putting in an order for four Supermans, three Kirks, two Green Lanterns and a Robin. I wouldn't mind a couple of Ralph Mouths or Pottsie Webbers( Happy Days) either, but I better not push my luck.

Despite his smile, Max has a pretty bad cold so I don't know how much trick-or-treating he'll be doing today. Plus, he's not even 4 Months old yet, but that's not going to prevent me from getting mines this evening! I'll probably go around to the same 5 or 6 neighborhoods all night long and just wear diffrent costumes.

I hope I don't get any rocks this year...

Happy Halloween my friends!

That is an awesome costume! Might be worth noting that my first costume was also Batman and I turned out perfect. LOL!!!

Wow! Talented sister! Gorgeous kid! Honestly he has a great smile. Four months is a fun age isn't it?!

Lola Starr said...

He is just too too adorable!!!! Happy 1st Halloween, Max! :)

Too cute! Hope his cold gets better soon, and hope you don't get any rocks.

Totally freaking cute.

Don't you know, kids trick or treating is the ways for you to get free candy. Use the power of your kids cuteness for good!

Crazily cute.

As in, it's crazy how cute he is. Not that he's crazy.

But you probably guessed that.

furiousBall said...

is his costume a cute baby? :)

Debs said...

He is sooooooo precious!!

It sucks getting rocks.

Jay said...

Your sister did a great job on that, but admit it, the Captain Kirk ones are for you, aren't they? LOL

Happy Halloween!

Very cute that boy is! Must get it from his mother.

So what are you dressing up this year? I expect some kind of great superhero ensemble from you.

Happy Halloween!

Burfica said...

Do you think she could make me one??? It looks so comfortable. Kiddo's first halloween he was 5 months old. and he was a pea in a pod. I stayed and passed out candy with him in my arms. But after that, it was non stop candy getting for kiddo. hehehehe

Tink said...

Man, your kid is CUTE. No wonder there are so many ugly people in the world. He's sucking up all the "adorable" and using it for his own diabolical plans...

Like making me want to hand over all my candy.

Jerrster said...

damn that is one cute kidling!!!!

Aunt Jackie said...

Yeah, i'm with Tink on this one--Maybe that's his superpower. He's absorbed all the adorable, and there's nothing but rotten ugly left and he's going to take over the world!

Have her make you an outfit too, then we expect to see a photo of both of you in your onesies. (She can make an adult size, right??) LOL

Have a Wicked Halloween...

Evil AJ

Max is so cute! Your sister rocks, too. That outfit is terrific. Can she make me one, too. I prefer zippers to snaps, though. So much easier.

Happy Halloween to you and yours, Dear Captain!

dilling said...

Um...what baby have we been seeing on your sight?

I want to assure Hoosiergirl that all that cuteness comes from Allyson.

The little man is pretty stylin.

Are you giving him your cold therpies? Thera-flu non stop lol

WoW just look at the lil Guy. Wont be long 'til he has a log of his own at this rate.

Hope you get some good candy!

Biddie said...

OMG. He is seriously SO cute! I do NOT hand out compliments liek that, either. If I think that a kid is not so cute, I will say something like..aww, he's a sweetie, or yup, that's a baby.
He is adorable.
Happy Halloween!

What?? Who is this Max you speak of? I am so very unfamiliar with him!

What a happy little guy. You can tell he's just as pleased as daddy is by his outfit.

Your sister MADE that? She's great, almost as great as that photo of Max.

I love bald babies. My eldest and third (last) child were bald babies.

Sick or not, that boys is a cutie-patootie! I took my oldest trick or treating when he was only a few months old and he got close to 2 bags of candy. And, SCORE, he had no teeth so I got it all. Yeah me!

Casdok: Thanks! :)

Guilty: Me either. ;)

Nancy: Thanks! My wife takes better much pictures than I do, but he never disappoints.

Heidi: He's a blast! Everyday is amazing and a complete joy.

captain corky said...

Rockdog: You don't think Max is going to grow his hair out and move to Upstate New York when he gets older do you? ;)

Karma: Thanks. I hope next year he's feeling a little better. :)

Lady K: No rocks K. A little mace at one house though. ;)

Nikki: Welcome! Next years I plan on getting lots of candy. err... I mean Max will get lots of candy.

Jenny: I didn't think you meant he was crazy. Now if you called me crazy you might be onto something. ;)

captain corky said...

QofD: Definitely. Kid is much stronger than any drug I've ever done. ;)

Furiousball: A perfect description of his costume. Thanks.

Debs: getting rocks really sucks, especially when you're fishing. ;)

Jay: Would you spray mace in my face if I came to your door dressed in Kirk onsie? LOL

[Cherry] Ride: He does. ;) Unfortunately I had to dress up like a 9 to 5 schnook. Only that's 9 at night to 5 in the morning.

captain corky said...

Burfica: We never get trick-or-treaters where we live now, but hopefully we'll be moving very, very soon.

Tink: wouldn't be cool if I taught him how to cry for only getting one piece. That would be funny.

Jerrster: Thanks! He's a great kidling. I like that. Glad I came up with it. ;)

Jackie: That would be really funny! Do you think I would get arrested?

Tod: Hope you had a good one too!

captain corky said...

Kate: Great idea! Next year everyone get rocks disguised as candy. ;)

Hoosiergirl5: He looks a lot more like his mommy than me, but I'm not too bad either. A little cocky at times thought. ;)

Alekx: I only got mace sprayed in my face once last night. Not bad!

Gawilli: LOL It wasn't me. Um... I swear. ;)

Beader: Next year baby Superman. ;)

captain corky said...

Ashley: Thanks! Maybe we found a new business for her. ;)

Neroli: Thank you. You're pretty amazing yourself Neroli. :)

Dilling: Just some kid form the JC Penny catalogue. ;)

Birdman: That's my boy, always getting my back! ;) No Thera-Flu for Jr. Yet.

Chucky: we got a couple of pieces of chocolate. Not a bad hall for only going to one house.

captain corky said...

Biddie: Thanks! I know I can always count on your for the truth. Are we starting to get the Christmas village stuff out yet? ;)

Princess: Like father, like son. LOL

Whim: Thanks!

Michael C: Great to see you my friend.

Peggy: He's got a nice bald patch in the back of his head. You would love it. ;)

captain corky said...

Christie: 2 bags is a great score! Next year I plan on making up for lost time. LOL

MJD: I like the way it looks on him. And with his cold he needs to be a little warm. :)

Cheryl: Don't worry, I only get mad when people insult Kirk. ;)

Helene said...

Glad you decided on Max and not Cletus!!

She's got some talent with the sewing machine. My sister's the same way. She can sew cook, and when it comes down too it, she can drink, too. I don't know if your sister drinks, but I'd bet if she did, she could probably hold her own.

eric1313 said...

And the kid is looking great. I could only imagine a starfleet uniform on the little guy.

Jamie: He's feeling much better today, but still a little congested.kid can do no wrong! ;)

Har: He made out like a bandit over at this grandmother's house. So Daddy can't complain to much. ;)

Eric: She doesn't drink, but I can drink enough for her, and about four other people at any given opportunity!

I think he would look great in Yellow and Black.

Fiwa: No, I was Superman. LOL

Crustybeef: Thanks! It's my couch. With this cold, Max has been using the couch as a bib lately, but that's ok because my Kate: I gotta give the kid some kind of fighting chance. ;)

Just don't get him a red shirt, you know how bad things were for the red shirt guys. They never had a chance, right from getting assigned their uniform, they were doomed.
