And Now a Brief Message from willSix

Good Morning, fellow Corksters. willSix here. It appears that our beloved blog Captain has taken a temporary hiatus from blogging for reasons that remain double-secret probation confidential (*cough* sex change *cough*).

My bloggy brethren, the Christmas season is upon us, which, for Jews like me, means looking forward to delicious Chinese food, blissfully empty movie theaters, and a desperate, empty sensation of exclusion and loneliness gnawing at our insides. However, in the spirit of the Holy Spirit and all that, I thought I would share with you my absolute, 100%, without-a-doubt favorite Christmas song. It's a little ditty by the Pogues, who fracking rock.

Apparently, there was some controversy over this song in merry old England this year. I would comment on it, but I really don't need to, since this guy says it better than I could anyway.

This, too.

I would tell you more about Captain Corky's strange disappearance, but then Dick Cheney would have to extraordinarily rendition you.

Happy Christmas, babe.

"Captain Corky" is a totally unisex name so it all works out on this end.

Of course, for flair perhaps he changes it to "Captina". It just feels right.

Good for him/her. I completely support his/her decision.

PS...I like Chinese food.

Captainess Corky, I like it!

Furiousball: You are as wise are you are...furious? Blue? A ball?

Katy: Well, I thought Thers' breakdown of the story showed there was more to it than just PC run amok, expecially considering the BBC's change of heart.

Jay: Merry Christmas. See I can say it! I can say it! I can- *bursts into flames*

Rockdog: Your openmindedness is only surpassed by your taste in world cuisine.

Real Live Lesbian: What I said to Rockdog.

Casdok: Your attempts to force me to disclose more info about the Cap'n display that you are objectively pro Al Qaeda. I suggest we waterboard you.

Hey Will Six,
Thanks for the update on Corky. I hope that his surgery goes well. I know and like the Pogues but had not heard this cheery tune.

He hasn't been the same since the Enterprise was taken down off his header.

I hope the "reassignment" goes well.

Dick Chaney will have to come get me himself with his big bad birdshot loads.

hi willsix, the BBC have bleeped what they call the offending word

willSIX said...

Thanks for the kind comments, all. Much appreciated.

Katy: my mistake, then. I was under the impression the Beeb had changed its mind.

I sent a text message to our beloved Captain to see how his "move" was going. He reported all is well and a strange desire to eat chocolates and cry for no particular reason at all.

Willsix - thanks for the update on the corkster - so situation normal then...well at least as far as chocolate and tears...

thanks for the lovely post. Don't feel excluded - at least you won't have drunken family brawls on the 25th. Thats something to be missed! And you can partake of boxing day with all the money you saved on not forking over for ridiculous xmas presents.

Being Jewish rules!

LOL! I didn't exactly have a sex change Will... but I have been fucked over the last two weeks by the following: A plumber, an electrician, an appliance store, LG&E, the city home inspector, and a couple of those big flashy department stores.

But I'm HOME,and I gotta say that I think I'm going to like Bedford Falls. I met my new neighbor, a guy by the name of George Bailey. He ran past my house screaming, "Merry Christmas Captain Corky."

Yep, I think I'm going to love living in Bedford Falls. Unfortunately there are no 7-11's here. I wonder where am I going go to get my 2 pound burritos from...

Well done willsix
your story of chinese food and empty theaters is making me think of Christmas in Livingston!

willSIX said...

Of course you didn't, Captina. I had to say something though, didn't I? The natives were growing restless. I feared mutiny.

Oh, Birdy, the McCoy to my Spock...seeing as I live in Livingston, isn't it only rational, perhaps even logical, that my post would remind you of it?

Have to confess never heard England being referred to as ,merry old England. You are right though that song ,we Irish say,"fecking",rocks.Happy christmas form Maureen.

lol Will BUT a while ago, you argued with me as to the fact that Livingston is over run with...well, you know...."your kind"

I never said it wasn't overrun, my little pigeon, I just said it wasn't comprised of 99% Chosen people.
