Scarred for Life

Just out of curiosity... Is this the scariest looking thing you've ever seen, or what?

Good Friday was good. Lots of sleep.

Saturday was even better. We ate at a restaurant, shopped, and got lots of cleaning done. I showed Allyson what I want for Father's Day which will be here in less than 3 months. I'll divulge more information about that in an upcoming post.

Today is Sunday and the best is yet to come. Meaning dinner. I'm sure there will be ham, mac-n-cheese, mashed potatoes, and pizza.

I hope everyone who reads this post had a very nice weekend, no matter what your race, religion, color, creed, or sexual persuasion might be.

Notes: Last night The Ten Commandments was on, just like I predicted it would be.
Today I'm wearing Christmas boxers.

Nobody else seems to find the dinner combo odd, so I will go along with the crowd and pretend I don't think it's really bizarre ;)

Happy weekend!

I saw an equally frightful bunny last night on Hollywood Blvd. Standing right next to a guy in a Freddy Krueger getup.

I watched about 30 minutes of the Ten Commandments. For the first time ever. It was a bit corny. I'll have to catch it in it's entirety sometime. Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!!! Where are the pics of Max w/the Easter bunny????

Nancy said...

I hope you had a food filled day! (belch)

And Max? Where is he with his Easter Basket?

That bunny is scary indeed and certainly not Playboy Mansion material [smirk]

Yeah, it reminds me of Alice in Wonderland which always scared me.

We had a good Easter - ate too much as usual.

That is one FREAKY looking rabbit!

Almost as bad as a clown.... ::shudder::

Happy Easter! :)

That is seriously scary looking. I wish that I wouldn't have seen it so close to bedtime...
We watched the WHOLE 10 Commandments last night.
I can't get over how gorgeous Yvonne De Carlo was...Go Lily Munster!
Happy Easter to you and yours :)

That IS the scariest thing I've ever seen.

Actually, you in the Christmas boxers is the scariest thing I've ever seen, but that East Bunny is a close second

Hope you had a great Easter! Love that you wore the x-mas boxers!

Have a marvelous Monday! :)

Furiousball: Hope you had a good one as well.

Jay: I watched a little bit of the U of L game. That's about as far as I go with non-football sports.

Flake: Hope you had a good one!

Josh: I like food too, and so does my gut.

Casdok: They had an entire collection of these bizarre decorations. Could you imagine displaying these in your home? LOL

captain corky said...

Whim: I think it would look very nice on your fireplace mantel (if you have one). What do you think? ;)

Burfica: Happy New Year too you my friend. ;)

Marykay: Max sat at the big table with us. It was a lot of fun!

Peggy: That would be very cool! ;)

Katy: LOL, Would you like to mail you a pair?

captain corky said...

Patti: You mean pizza isn't a staple of your traditional Easter dinner? We didn't have any pizza either. I guess I was wrong about that... ;)

Ginormous Boobs: You need to find yourself a good scrapbooking club. That way you'll stay out of trouble. ;)

Cheryl: Right after it was over I walked around the house for a little while in my bathrobe telling my wife to "Let my people go!" It was a lot of fun. ;)

Melissa: No Easter Bunny this year. Maybe next year when he's a little older. He did wear a nice outfit though.

Nancy: Definitely not playboy material. He's not even worthy of making the cover of a book of matches. ;)

captain corky said...

Ashley Ladd: Yeah, and that rabbit was a creep too. ;) Hope you had a good one! I ate way too much.

Pissy: Ya know... it might make a great house warming gift for your daughter. ;)

Biddie: Yeah, she's much nice to look at when she's not covered in green. ;)

Birdman: It's pretty freaky. People buy all sorts of whacked out shit at Cracker Barrel. They put some kind of chemical in the food that makes you unable to think clearly when come out from eating, and then you buy all sorts of useless shit from that store. LOL

Guilty: We did alright. ;) I hope you guys had a good one too.

captain corky said...

Dana: Actually the pair that I wore have green and red Christmas robots on them. I have an overabundance of Christmas Boxers. ;)

Katie: I hope you guys had a great Easter, too. ;)

We watched The Ten Commandments :)
My husband was traumatized by an inflatable bunny as a child and now won't eat carrots....so yes, bunnies can be evil things.

The Lone Beader® said...

I 'm scared of that thing, too! I think I'm gonna have nightmares now!

Tequila Mockingbird said...

that easter bunny looks like it would not only steal & eat your easter candy, but steal & eat your children too. eak!

Patti said...

Ahhhh....Cracker Barrel. That explains it. I LOOOOOOVE going to CB just to see all the bizarre shit that they have - and that people continue to buy. They do sell yummy lemon drops, though.

Peggy said...

I don't have ANY holiday themed undies. None at all!

They just aren't available for women. Tisn't fair!

Knight said...

What is that thing? Pizza is an Easter tradition? We had booze brunch.

~SugarBear~ said...

That is a really creepy bunny....looks like Peter Rabbit is a little "metro".

CRUSTY MOM-E said...

Seeing that oversized rabbit suddenly gives me the urge to Convert.

Happy Easter!!
Always,
Elizabeth

Ha! My lucky boxers are Woody Woodpecker 'happy holidays' shorts! They rock!

Yep, that's a firghtening bunny/thing in that picture. Do the kids cry when their folks drag them up to it?

Mmm, mmm, good. Easter dinner. I hope you had lots of great leftovers so you could spread the Easter food love to Monday.

captain corky said...

Mama Bear: The only way I would eat carrots when I was a kid is if it was in my Chunky Beef. Now as an adult I will only eat carrots when they are in my Chunky Beef or in Beef with Snow Peas. ;)

Beader: Maybe you could bead that rabbit next! LOL

Tequila: Yeah, it's beyond freakish! And so is anyone who would display it in their house.

Patti: You're right, they have good candy there!

Peggy: I'm pretty sure Victoria Secret does, but since you don't work in a cathouse you might wanna go in another direction. ;)

captain corky said...

Knight: I think it's supposed to ornamental, but whoever created is in desperate need of an exorcism.

C: That bunny makes me want to violent things! I want to get a whole bunch of them and use them for target practice.

Crusty: You don't have it as bad as me... It makes me want to kill. LOL!

Eric: Well, it made me cry so I'm sure kids cry when they see it.

Ashley: I didn't take any home with me. When will I ever learn?

Jodi said...

Happy Easter (late)! Do we have any pics of Max in a bunny suit?

I bet the Easter bunny was seriously pissed about your boxers.
